A new order is created, and CataList displays an Order Summary section with a running total of your order contents.
Add order quantities
The order quantity indicates how many of a single product you would like to order. Order values are calculated at the retail price in CataList, though you can contact the distributor about wholesale purchasing and volume discounts.
Once you have started an order, there are several areas on the site where you can add order quantities for a title:
The Orders section on the title detail page
The Orders box in a catalogue’s scroll view
The Order Qty column in a catalogue’s grid view
The Order Qty column in an order detail page
The titles in your order must all be supplied by the same distributor unless you’re ordering from a wholesaler that sells products from many different distributors. Learn more about identifying distributors on CataList.
WordStock data points
If you use WordStock as your point-of-sale system, you can enable the WordStock integration in CataList to enter title-level data that can be exported into WordStock. Learn more about CataList’s WordStock integration.
Next steps
After you have created your order, you can edit your order details or export it to be submitted for fulfilment.
