Recommend titles for The Booksellers' List
The Booksellers' List is a collective marketing program coordinated by The Canadian Independent Booksellers Association (CIBA). The lists are compiled seasonally, based on votes for titles from bookseller members across the county.
More information about The Booksellers' List can be found on the CIBA website.
CIBA member booksellers can vote for their favourite forthcoming titles right in CataList. Read on to see how to vote for your favourites!
Log in to get access to the voting tool
The voting tools are only available to CIBA booksellers, so the first thing you’ll need to do is log into the site so that the system can identify you as a CIBA member.
If you don’t have an account yet, you can request one. Retailer accounts on CataList are free!
Are you logged in, but still not seeing the voting tools? Contact the CataList team at catalist@booknetcanada.ca and we'll make sure your account is set up correctly as a CIBA bookseller!
Locate eligible titles

When you are looking at a title detail page, or the thumbnail or scrolling view of a catalogue, you’ll see a Recommend button with The Booksellers' List logo on titles that you are eligible to vote for through CataList.
Eligible titles include:

print books in English
single item SKUs (no multi-packs or sets)
books for the Adult Trade, Young Adult, and Juvenile audience*
* Note: At program launch, CIBA will be producing an Adult list only. Juvenile lists are planned for a later date.
