User Permissions for Custom Catalogues

Custom catalogues by default are private and only the creator can edit them. Collaborative custom catalogues, however, can be edited and viewed by other users in the same CataList account. Use the following user permissions table to understand what catalogue editing and viewing permissions are granted to users both internal and external of the CataList account.

Summary of collaborative custom catalogue permissions

  • Catalogue recipients who are not in your CataList account have view-only access. They cannot edit the custom catalogue.

  • Basic Users in your CataList account can edit everything the catalogue creator can edit, except changing it back to a private custom catalogue. This also applies to Catalogue Editors in Publisher-type accounts.

  • Account Managers in your CataList account can edit everything the catalogue creator can edit.
