Page Count Search Filters and Columns
You may have noticed some changes in SalesData and LibraryData recently! You can now filter your results by page count on all of the following reports:
Bestseller
Multi-ISBN
Gap Analysis
Popular Books
Collection Gaps
Bestseller Circ
To search by page count, simply enter a minimum and/or maximum page count value in our new text boxes:
For any of these reports, you can also now add a Page Count column. If you would like to display Page Count data in your SalesData reports, open the Customize Columns dialog in the report results screen, and check the checkbox to add it.
You can also find this information in the Page Count biblio fields on the following reports
Single ISBN: Found under Bibliographic Data (previously under the More Bibliographic Data)
Book Activity: Found in the ISBN Cluster table (previously under the Full Bibliographic Data pop-up)
Updates to Column Sorting Logic
Based on feedback we’ve heard in our advisory groups, we’ve also made some changes to the sorting logic across all of our reports. In most columns with numeric values, such as Units Sold for example, users are now able to sort the data in descending order on the first click. By clicking the column a second time, users can view the data in ascending order.
As part of this work, we’ve also added some visual aids to make it more clear to our users which column the data is being sorted on by default. For example, if you run a Market Comparison report and rank your reports by Units Sold on the criteria page, then the Units Sold column will automatically be highlighted:
