Defining a Merge Request

Through submitting a Merge Request via the Media Bestseller List Tool, you can combine a group of ISBNs of the same work so that the combination of their sales make up a single “slot” on media Bestseller Lists.

Time Frame

Please make sure you submit your Merge Request one month before the book’s publication date. This gives the BNC Admin team plenty of time to review and approve your request before any information is sent to the Bestseller Lists.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Merge Request, all ISBNs in the merge group must share the same:

• Title and author

• Format / binding

• List price

• Language

• Publisher

• Sales territory (Canada)

• Pub Date month
