How it works
Publishers - Whether your comparable titles are sourced from an ONIX feed, a sideload file or are manually entered by reps, you can select any one comparable to star. All staff in your account have access to add or edit the comp star on your own title listings, so we recommend that you designate who in your company should set the starred comps in CataList.
Simply log into CataList and tap or click the star icon on the Title Detail page to set. Click a different star to update the title selection, or tap a selected star to deselect.
Retailers and Libraries - You'll now be able to easily see which of one the comparable title listings the publisher has chosen to feature. You can still set your own Best Comp selection in CataList, using any of the list comparable titles or by adding your own.

Using the direct export from CataList to WordStock? You can now optionally apply an Imprint code to all entries in an order when you trigger your export. If you provide an Imprint code when pulling an order export file, CataList will apply that code to all items in that order. If you do not provide an imprint, the system will continue to populate the export with the title-level imprint information currently sourced from the publisher’s bibliographic data. |

Drop-in handling
Having trouble keeping up with the number of late additions every season? We have the perfect new tools to help you keep on top of them all.
Drop-ins are flagged in CataList at title level, and are reported on in several ways to make locating them easy. You'll find the most recently added drop-in titles displayed in the top carousel of the Home page, along with one-click reports on drop-in titles publishing in the next few months.
Tip |
---|
Publishers can limit the titles displayed in this section and in the monthly reports by clicking on their Publisher tab on the Home page. Everyone can limit the content of the recent drop-ins section and monthly reports by setting their Favourites list, and using the Favourites tab view. |
When viewing drop-in titles within catalogue, title or search result views, a drop-in flag will display next to the publication date to visually identify the drop-in titles. Hover over the flag to see the date the title was added to CataList.
We've also updated the drop-in reports in CataList, to eliminate duplicate listings and titles past publication date. Once flagged, a drop-in title will expire from the reports automatically, one month past the publication date!
Find out how to flag drop-in titles in the system, and make sure you don't miss any late additions.
