There are three ways to add images from your computer to Webform. You can simply drop the file into the designated space, you can use the file browser, or you can provide a URL.

Option 1: Drag & drop an image

Step 1

Add an image file from your computer by simply dragging it from your browser and dropping it in the Add media file by dropping… image tab left of the title details. Example shared in the image below, marked with a red box.

Make sure to drop it in the tab with the text, Add media file by dropping...

Step 2

Once you’ve dropped it, a small pop up window will appear as seen in the second image below. Here you can choose whether you want to use the dropped image as a Front Cover, Front Cover Thumbnail, Contributor Image, or Interior Image.

Option 2: Add an image file from your computer

Step 1

Click on Add media file..! Or click to browse tab. A new pop up window will appear.

For best results make sure that cover images are .jpg file types - [enter image requirements….]

Step 2

Once you see the Add a media file pop-up, click on From a file... button and you will be prompted to select a file from your computer.

Step 3

After selecting your image file you will directed to Add a new Media file pop-up. Select the kind of image you are uploading, e.g., Contributor image, Cover image, etc.

Step 4

Once you have chosen the type of image, make sure you click OK to apply the changes to your title.

Make sure to save your changes once you have uploaded new image or metadata

Option 3: Add an image from URL

Step 1

Click on Add media file..! Or click to browse tab. A new pop up window will appear.

Step 2

Once you see the Add a media file pop-up, click on From a URL... button and you will be prompted to the next screen to enter the URL.

Step 3

Enter the URL of the image. Once you have entered the URL you can see a preview of the image in the pop-up screen. Click OK once you can see the preview of the image. Don’t forget to save your work!

Do not add URL of images from Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar services that require the end user to log into a system to retrieve the data.
