Who’s part of the provincial markets?

Each provincial market is made up of all the individual bricks-and-mortar stores contributing to SalesData that are located within the particular province. The one exception to this is the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut market, which contains sales of all the stores located across those territories.

Please note that the provincial markets do not contain online sales, wholesaler sales, or publisher-reported sales at this time.

Who can view the provincial markets?

Retailers can access whichever provincial markets that their stores are currently contributing to. So for example, if you have a single store and are located in British Columbia, you can access the British Columbia market only. If you have 2 stores, with one located in British Columbia and one in Alberta, then you can access both the British Columbia and Alberta markets.

Publishers and sales agents have access to all the provincial markets, and are only able to see their own title sales in those markets.
