Loan Stars is a readers’ advisory service that allows library staff across Canada to collaboratively select their favourite forthcoming titles. Using CataList, library staff can nominate their favourite adult fiction and non-fiction titles, the most popular of which will be marketed to libraries and library users alike.

Starting in January/February 2023, Loan Stars lists will now be produced using on order numbers from LibraryData. To find out more about Loan Stars, please visit the LibraryData Help Manual.
Monthly Loan Stars catalogues will still be produced in CataList.
Logging in to your CataList account gives library users access to notes mark-up, marketing information for specific titles, early access to publisher catalogues, brief MARC record exports for bibliographic data, and ordering support.
