Many publishers and distributors in Canada are still primarily using ONIX 2.1 to supply data to trade partners including BookNet Canada’s BiblioShare and CataList services. For companies who have begun sending the most up-to-date standard ONIX 3.0 data to BiblioShare, the CataList team will be assessing data quality and will begin contacting accounts to arrange the transitioning transition of those accounts over to using their ONIX 3.0 data in late 2022 and early 2023.
