Images, particularly cover images, are an important selling tool for your title. Cover images are used everywhere on CataList, so don't forget to add them!

Images can be added from at the top of your Title Detail Page. Cover images are always visible at the top left of title listings in all three views. In CataList cover images will appear at the top left of each title’s individual title information page, and all associated media files i.e interiors will appear underneath the cover image.

On the Title Detail page, hover your mouse over the cover image box to access the Add/Edit button (a pencil icon) appear. Click the button to launch the pop-up window where you can upload your title.

Tip

Hot Tip:

You can also drag and drop a cover file into the box, and the Edit Media pop-up window will appear.

To add all the interior images you want to include upload them one by one and number them. They will appear on CataList according to their number. These images will appear on Catalist in Scroll View and on the Title Detail Page under the cover image.

HOT TIP:

To remove an image, simply load another image to override an existing image, or use the Red Delete button on the image to remove. See image 3 on the left for reference.

Drag and Drop Images on Webform

On your Title Detail page you can drag an image from your desktop or from a folder on your computer and drop it into the Add Media box, located at the top left of Webform’s Title Detail page

Once you have dropped the image successfully, a pop-up window will appear. In this pop-up window you will see the image you have dropped and options to list this image as a Front Cover, Interior or Contributor Image.

Add Images from a URL

On your Title Detail page you can add an image by copying the URL information of your image. This is specially useful if you have an online depository of your images that is publicly available.

Click the “Add Media file..” above your cover image box. A pop-up window will appear with two button. Click the one below that says, From a URL …

A second pop-up window will appear where you can copy the URL of the image you want to list as Cover, Interior or Contributor image.

Add Covers, Interiors, and Contributor Images

To add an image to a new title click the “Add media file...” box at the top of your Title Detail page. You can also drop an image file on the box. Please note, dropping it below the box will not work.

After clicking “Add Media file…” a pop-up window will appear which will ask you to either add media “From a file” or “From a URL…”.

Click your preferred method. “From a file” option enables you to upload an image file from your computer, and “From a URL…” allows you to paste a URL of the image. Only use URLs that are publicly visible. GoogleDrive and Dropbox links are not recommended for this purpose.

Replace Existing Cover/Interior/Contributor

To replace an existing cover go to your Title Detail page. Hover your mouse over the image you want to replace to access the Edit/Remove button. Click Edit, or drag and drop an image to replace an existing image or use the red delete button on the image to remove it.
