Once you have successfully logged into the Media Bestseller List Tool, you will be taken to the View Merge Requests Page. You can now start submitting your Merge Request, either by clicking on “Submit Merge Request” in the Navigation Bar (1) or “Submit New Merge Request” in the blue box towards the top of the page (2)The following provides a basic overview of submitting and viewing your Merge Requests.

You will now be on the first page of the Submit Merge Request section.

To start your request, enter the ISBNs that you would like to merge in the provided text box and click “continue”. Each ISBN must be separated by a comma.

Please note that a Merge Request must include a minimum of 2 ISBNs and cannot exceed 5.

If for some reason you didn’t input the correct ISBNs on this page, no need to worry! You can add or remove ISBNs on the next page.), (2), (3) (4) and (5)]

(2) Submit New Merge Request

You can click here when you are ready to start submitting a new Merge Request. Note that this little blue box will bring you to the same page that’s linked to Submit Merge Requestin the Navigation Bar. For further instructions on how to submit your Merge Request, please refer to [LINK]. 

(3) Submitted Merge Requests Table

The table provided is where you can find a complete history of all Merge Requests that you have submitted using the Media Bestseller List Tool. This contains all relevant bibliographic information pertaining to the Merge Request, including the ISBNs, Title, Author, Publisher, Pub Date, Format, and List Price. 

The “Submitted By” column allows you to see who submitted the Mergest Request - whether it was you or someone else associated with your account.

The “Date Modified” column allows you to see the last time action was taken on your Merge Request. 

Finally, this is also where you can glance at the status of your Merge Request, whether it be Pending, Approved, or Rejected. 

(4) Search Bar

You can use the Search Bar to filter your merge requests. Simply search by any of the bibliographic information provided in the table, such as ISBN, Title, Publisher, or Author. Once you start typing, the table will automatically start filtering.
